As the competition and demand for new and innovative features are growing every year, newly released top flagships phones are getting more and more complex in nature.Samsung Galaxy S9 is an ideal example of it. It is not easy to pack all of its features and their purposes in a short review. But let's get started.
The big focus of Galaxy S9 is its camera. The rear camera has a dual aperture. One for low light and one for bright daylight. It can adapt to the light to deliver the best result. The super slow-motion feature will let you record anything for 0,2 second and play it for 6 seconds is super slow-mo. But the coolest camera feature is the AR (Augmented Reality) Emoji. You will be able to create emoji by using your face and share it as stickers or videos in chat. Another cool feature is the live translation. For example, you are in Russia and see a signboard in Russian, but you can't read the language. Simply turn on your WiFi or 4G, be logged in to your Samsung account and take a photo of the signboard. The camera will read and translate the text for you. Other standard features like OIS, auto HDR, panorama, etc. are there too.
Now, let's move to the display. The so-called infinity display is offering an edge-to-edge view. It is almost bezel-less and minimized the distraction in a maximum level. It is a pure full-view experience with 18.5:9 display ratio. A 5th Generation Gorilla Glass in front and back with premium aluminum frame completes the design and viewing experience.
Among the other cool features there are advanced AR options such as Bixby Vision. You can take a photo of anything and get useful information about it. Take a photo of your chicken curry and Bixby Vision should tell you the name of your food. Previous premium features like the desktop experience, dust/waterproof body, 3D touch, etc. are also present in S9. New security feature "Samsung Knox" is there to improve overall security in a greater level.
Regarding performance, there is nothing to complain about it. Battery, Chipset, RAM, ROM, Network, GPU, CPU everything is well-optimized.
