After a reasonable amount of time, Samsung has released another smartphone in Bangladesh Galaxy J5. The last released phones before this were Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge which are high-end and high price devices. After Galaxy Grand Prime which was released in October 2014, this is the next one in this price range. So, about 10 months of gap in between. Let's see if it is offering innovative and competitive specs or not.
Galaxy J5 is coming with a 8 GB ROM and 1.5 GB RAM. Well, phones from other renowned brands like ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML) and Huawei G Play Mini (G Play Mini is even still coming with a much lower price) are giving much better RAM (2 GB) and ROM (16 GB). So, memory, speed and multitasking could be better. Adreno 306 GPU is a good add for Gaming in this price range. It is surely better than the typical Mali-400 GPU. But don't expect top quality HD gaming with this as you would need adreno 320 or actually 330 for best graphics. Both front and back cameras are of good quality. Both coming with CMOS sensor and LED flash. 13 MP back camera contains autofocus, flash, face recognition etc. and the flash in front camera will enable you to take low-ght selfies. Battery is definitely impressive in this one. 5 inch super AMOLED display is anyway battery friendly and plus 2600 mAh will push it to up to 18 hours of talk-time. Talking of display, the AMOLED technology also makes it eye-friendly, color rich, fine contrast ratio, good under sunlight view and angle view. The HD quality makes it finely clear and sharp. Another impressive feature of this phone is the smart manager that will let you close unused apps running in the background, boost battery and RAM performance, delete unused files easy as well as start antivirus. J5 is coming with the latest 2015 android lollipop version with improved interface, speed and security. Some other features include Full HD video recording, GPS, Beidou, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC and so on.
