Jordan Matthews returns to Eagles after 2017 trade to Buffalo

The Eagles have signed wide receiver Jordan Matthews, who spent his first three seasons in Philadelphia and could bolster an injury-plagued receiver corps. Philadelphia announced the signing Wednesday and placed wide receiver Mike Wallace on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Matthews, 26, had 225 receptions for 2,673 yards and 19 touchdowns in his three seasons with the Eagles. He was traded to the Buffalo Bills last season for cornerback Ronald Darby.
