Helio S1 Review
Helio S1 is the first smartphone from the new brand Helio. You may wonder why is this phone added under the brand Symphony? Because Helio S1 is released by Edison Group, the owner of Symphony brand. For some reason they have decided to release this premium smartphone under a new brand name. But they are also publicize it under Symphony.
Helio S1 has all the qualities of a premium elegant smartphones. The smartphone market of Bangladesh is developing quite fast. Therefore, 4G network should be arriving soon for a even faster mobile internet browsing. Keeping this in mind, Helio S1 will support 4G once it is available. Camera is one of its most impressive factors. The 13 megapixel back camera is filled with tons of additional quality features (see above specifications) which may deliver high standard photo captures and video recordings. 8 MP selfie camera is able to take clear, sharp and bright selfies. AMOLED displays are beloved in Bangladesh as usually Samsung premium phones contain this display technology that provides comfort to the eyes, deliver clear and bright view also under sunlight. Both front and back panels are protected with third gen. gorilla glass to protect the device from scratches and damages. The bezel of Helio S1 is made of metal. If you see the GPU, CPU and RAM, 3D/ HD gaming, multitasking and quick moving around the interface should not be any issue. 16 GB internal space is there to store a good amount of apps, games, documents and media such as photos and videos. Important features such as OTG, OTA, android lollipop, dual SIM, various gestures and sensors are also included in it. The only yet a quite disappointing drawback of Heloi S1 is its poor battery performance. 270 hours stand-by and 7 hours of talk-time can be considered quite low for a premium device like this.
